Position Summary:
The Part‑Time Photographer is a non‑exempt position reporting to the Creative Manager and is accountable for capturing high‑quality product and lifestyle photography that supports the Co‑op’s marketing, merchandising, and brand storytelling needs. This role executes planned shoots, follows established brand standards, and delivers consistent, production‑ready assets for use across digital, print, social, and in‑store channels. The Part‑Time Photographer maintains the photo studio environment, manages file organization and equipment care, and works closely with the Creative Manager, designers, Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Manager, and Website Merchandiser to ensure all photography aligns with product photography requirements, campaign direction, technical requirements, and creative expectations.
Through reliable execution and attention to detail, this role contributes to the Co‑op’s visual asset library and supports a fast‑moving creative production workflow.

Key Accountabilities & Achievements:- Deliver Product Photography to Standard
- Capture and edit product imagery that meets defined quality and consistency standards.
- Execute scheduled lifestyle and opportunistic shoots as briefed.
- Maintain Equipment & File Hygiene
- Ensure photography equipment is maintained, and assets are properly organized and archived.
- Execute Shot Lists to Spec
- Deliver photography assignments accurately and on schedule based on provided shot lists.
- Bachelor’s degree or professional training in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field, with 1–3 years of experience in product, lifestyle, or commercial photography
- Proficiency with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, studio lighting, and editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop), with the ability to produce consistent, high‑quality images
- Strong understanding of composition, lighting, styling, and color accuracy, with the ability to follow creative direction and execute established visual standards
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage equipment, maintain a tidy studio environment, and ensure accurate file naming, exporting, and asset delivery
- Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License and submit to MVR checks upon hire and annually thereafter.
- Maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and self-report any infractions that may affect driving eligibility.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Well‑lighted, heated and/or air‑conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
- Outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind.
- Travel to events and industry conferences as needed.
- Hours of work are Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends during busy times.
