• Execute and be responsible for basic alteration services (e.g., hemming, patch and repair, tapering) and more technical alterations (e.g., fitting/tailoring items other than jeans, where more technical equipment is necessary; detailed appearance altering processes).
• Exemplify and possess strong customer service skills to elevate our client’s experience.
• Educate and train store teams on customer offerings and services provided by the Tailor Shop.
• Educate, train and help set goals for PT Tailors on customer offerings and services.

• Thorough understanding of denim industry and current/upcoming trends.
• Understanding of textiles and fabrics with proven skills in sewing, tailoring and textile repair.
• Awareness of design and details with strong communication skills both internally and externally.

• Bachelors or Associates Degree preferred
• Formal Training in apparel design preferred

• Minimum of 3 years of sewing/tailoring experience and strong knowledge of jeans construction.
• Thorough knowledge of machines used in the sewing of denim products.

• May be required to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, use hands to type and utilize the tools of the tailor shop.
• Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, lift, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening and weekend shifts.
