Cat Face is a You Tube entertainment company, home to a family of channels with over 24+ million combined subscribers and an average of 300 million views per month. Our goal is to entertain our audience with fun, light‑hearted narratives and entertaining content for both children and young adults. A vital component of our business is creating multiple unique stories every week in order to keep our audience engaged.

Cat Face is looking for a talented and driven Video game Cinematographer to join the Cinematics team in the creation of engaging out‑of‑player in‑game content.

• Break up intros, cut scenes, and full videos providing a shot list from the script provided
• Film scripted, story driven, long‑form content in many styles and themes
• Direct a group of body actors and see the video or project through from start to finish in collaboration with the Creative Lead
• Film and edit shorts as needed, creating camera profiles based off of the animation from the Blockbuster Animator
• Assist with collecting assets, sets, and post‑production needed information for the Lead Cinematographer
• Assist with troubleshooting issues in Minecraft instances the Cinematics team is working in
• Learn the techniques used for CG Cinematography and utilize them in intros, shorts, long‑form, and other projects
• Help with stats and tracking
• Assist with research for future shorts and videos in Minecraft
• Assist the Creative Lead with any other tasks as needed

• Must have 2-3 years experience in cinematography and knowledge of terms and techniques of camera usage
• 1 year of editing experience in Adobe Premiere
• A creative eye for content to execute the vision of the script/story
• Knowledge of game engines like Minecraft
• Knowledge of the You Tube platform and ability to analyze upcoming trends in editing styles; constantly seeking to improve the quality of videos using new styles
• Must have in-depth knowledge and experience with the Adobe Creative Suite:
  Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.
• Ability to work both independently and with small teams
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced entertainment environment and shift gears at a moment's notice
• Great and timely communication skills are a must
• Be able to hit deadlines
• Must be based in the Austin, TX area or willing to relocate
