Summer Internship

We are Axicom, a part of WPP, a global communications agency that specializes in technology brands. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join us for a 12‑week paid summer internship.

As a communications intern, you will work with our PR teams on real‑world projects across B2B and B2C tech clients in the U.S. offices of Austin, San Francisco, or New York.

• Support our PR teams in executing communication strategies for leading B2B and B2C tech clients.
• Assist in crafting compelling content, including press releases, media alerts, blog posts, and website copy, bringing tech narratives to life.

• Research media outlets and identify key journalists for targeted outreach.
• Draft engaging pitch emails and follow up to secure valuable media coverage.
• Monitor media coverage, track industry trends, and analyze insights for client reports.

• Support the planning and execution of PR events, from product launches to industry conferences.
• Assist with event logistics, coordination with vendors, and on‑site media relations.
• Actively participate in team meetings, brainstorms, and client calls, bringing your fresh perspective to problem‑solving.
• Maintain essential media lists and editorial calendars, ensuring seamless workflow.

• Genuine enthusiasm for the technology industry and a passion for telling its stories.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and strong proofreading abilities.
• A proactive and adaptable mindset, eager to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

• Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
• Meticulous attention to detail in all your work, from research to reporting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for creating professional documents, presentations, and reports.
• Experience with media intelligence platforms such as Brandwatch, Signal AI, or Muck Rack.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and emerging technologies.
