Position: Photographer I, News
Editor/Photojournalist  KXAN is looking for an editor/photojournalist who understands what today's newsroom demands in 2026: versatility.
This role is more than just shooting or editing it's about being a complete content developer. From behind the camera to the keyboard to digital publishing, you'll be part of every step of the storytelling process. You will be joining a highly recognized outstanding team, multiple team awards and individual accomplishments in the news industry.
What You'll Do   Shoot news video, interviews, and daily assignments in the field
Edit content for broadcast newscasts and digital platforms
Contribute daily to  and social platforms:
Photos
Video
Written content (as needed)
Great team player
Curiosity seeker out in the field, see something interesting, stop and find out what's going on.
Work closely with reporters, producers, and digital teams to build strong, complete stories
Manage and maintain assigned equipment responsibly

Schedule & Work Environment   Schedule will be set, but flexibility is required
This is a field-based job:
You'll work outdoors in Texas heat and cold
You'll carry and operate gear regularly
