Overview
Job Title: Designer – Mid-level (Motion Designer/Animator + Editor)
Duration: 12-Month Assignment
Location: Austin, TX (4-days onsite / week)
Job Description:
Creative Center is our client’s in-house agency, producing client, prospect, and internal communications across digital experiences. We’re looking for a Motion Designer/Animator + Editor to help deliver insight-driven storytelling and elevate how our brand and products come to life through video.
You’ll collaborate closely with motion designers, producers, writers, art directors, and UX/UI designers, to tell the entire organization brand story, from who we are to the products we offer. You’ll create a variety of work that ranges from social media videos to animating graphics for digital platforms to brand campaigns.
Responsibilities- Animate and deliver motion across digital experiences, including product demos, video explainers and data visualizations
- Translate complex ideas into clear, compelling visual narratives
- Source and edit original and licensed video into engaging stories
- Uphold brand standards across video mediums and channels
- Present work, incorporate feedback, and contribute to a collaborative creative culture
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience, in fine arts, motion-graphics, or visual effects
- 3+ years of experience specializing in motion design, animation, and concept-driven storytelling, in one of the following settings: editorial studio, in-house marketing department, creative agency or production company
- A portfolio demonstrating a variety of work including motion design, graphics animation, and live-action editorial
- Expert-level proficiency in After Effects and Premiere Pro; mastery of other Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Animate, Photoshop) and Cinema 4D applications
- Experience with sound design and audio engineering a bonus
- A proven track-record of creating compelling narrative/conceptual content
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communication skills and confidence presenting to cross-functional partners
- Proven record of collaborating well in a team environment and building relationships
