• Watch short film and video clips and break them down into structured, beat‑by‑beat visual descriptions
• Describe camera movement, framing, blocking, pacing, and mood in precise, consistent language
• Convey tone and emotional subtext using purely visual indicators — no reliance on dialogue
• Follow standardized formatting guidelines to produce scene summaries and beat breakdowns
• Maintain quality and consistency across a high volume of scene descriptions
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

• Passionate about film, television, or visual storytelling in any form
• Able to describe what you see clearly and systematically — without referencing what characters say
• Strong structured writing skills with an eye for detail and consistency
• Comfortable re‑watching clips to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Self‑motivated and reliable when working independently
• No professional film or media experience required

• Background in film studies, screenwriting, photography, or visual arts
• Experience writing shot lists, scene breakdowns, or production notes
• Familiarity with cinematography terminology such as framing, depth of field, or mise‑en‑scène
