Position OverviewWe are looking for an Interactive Graphic Designer who is creative, motivated, detail‑oriented, and eager to put their design skills to work at a lively, fast‑paced software startup. The role supports the in‑house Frontend department on the creation and production of graphically rich, data‑driven web‑based applications. The designer will assist the design team and eventually lead projects, gaining experience in UI/UX design.
The Interactive Graphic Designer reports to a senior designer and is an entry‑level full‑time position considered only for recent graduates with less than three years of experience.
- Design and produce client‑facing screenshot concepts for high‑profile, Fortune 500 clients.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to design and deploy graphical assets and interactive elements for True Choice’s web‑based applications.
- Design high‑fidelity wireframes and engaging UI concepts for industry‑leading applications across multiple devices.
- Design creative approaches, graphics, and layouts for web pages, HTML emails, sales and print collateral.
- Innovate new products, tools, and processes, and improve existing ones.
- Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, developments, and tools.
- Exceptional portfolio of consumer‑facing desktop/mobile web projects demonstrating the ability to elevate a brand through innovative and joyful web experiences.
- Bachelor’s degree or currently working toward completing a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related major.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite:
Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD; video editing a plus. - Creative flair and strong grasp of design principles, including typography, color, imagery, and composition.
- Experience with responsive design concepts for mobile, phone, and tablet interfaces.
- Experience demonstrating brand/visual elements across multiple mediums in web, print, interactive, and social media assets.
- Ownership of own work and the team’s collective work, and commitment to every part of a task, from big picture to small details.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment; willingness and ability to be reactive, flexible, and resourceful.
- Ability to persuasively justify and explain rationale for design decisions.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and web animation a plus.
