Responsibilities- Provide unbiased assistance to Medicaid Providers and/or Clients with questions regarding eligibility, medical claims status, and other program questions.
- Assist with problem resolution as needed.
- Respond to phone inquiries in a prompt, courteous and concise manner.
- Document all encounters in clear and concise online logs.
- Transfer callers to other Call Center units as needed.
- Meet individual performance standards.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.
- Attain and maintain strict required attendance and performance metrics.
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience.
- Six months’ Medicaid experience.
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Effective at multi‑tasking.
- Eagerness to contribute in a team‑oriented environment.
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem‑solving environment.
- Desire to work in an information systems environment.
- Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Compensation varies depending on location, role, skill set, and experience. Salary ranges by state:
- California: $20.58 – $34.38
- Colorado: $20.58 – $29.71
- Illinois: $19.04 – $29.71
- Maryland: $20.58 – $29.71
- Massachusetts: $20.58 – $31.63
- New Jersey: $21.88 – $34.38
- New York: $19.04 – $34.38
- Washington: $21.88 – $31.63
- Others (Cleveland, District of Columbia, Minnesota) follow a similar range.
