Insurance Customer Service Representative

Insurance Customer Service Representative (W2 | Base Pay + Commission)

Here at the Farmers Insurance District 35 Austin Office, we are looking for confident, kind, and personable individuals interested in a great opportunity in customer service.

In this full-time role, you will support clients with their insurance needs while delivering excellent customer service in an office setting.

This is a W2 position offering a base salary, with an opportunity for commission.

We want someone who, beyond just answering calls and sending their necessary emails, can proactively build lasting relationships with clients and ensure they are happy with their insurance experience.

While it is preferred, no prior insurance experience is required. We offer comprehensive training and continuous coaching to help you succeed.

We even provide licensing support should you aim to grow in the insurance industry.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • It is highly likely you will take calls from clients who need to file an insurance claim after a financial loss. Are you ready to be patient, kind, & personable?
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Can you handle scheduling multiple service calls & emails for updates and requests?
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Are you ready to handle working with CRM's and plenty of emailing?
  • Willingness to work in a team environment.
  • Will you be ready to communicate effectively with your team in the pursuit of handling insurance processes?

Preferred Experience:

  • Insurance experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to client inquiries regarding policies, billing, and coverage.
  • Assist with policy updates, changes, and documentation.
  • Provide customer support via phone, email, and in person.
  • Resolve client concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate and organized client records.
  • Support daily office operations as needed.
