Position SummaryThe Resident Activity Administrator plays a vital role in supporting occupancy, resident retention, and operational execution within the community. This position serves as a key bridge between the leasing office and maintenance team, ensuring that critical activities impacting move-ins, renewals, resident satisfaction, and apartment readiness are completed efficiently and effectively.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service while helping drive community performance.
Resident & Leasing Support- Assist with applicant follow-up and application progression to ensure timely approvals and move-ins.
- Coordinate and track all move-in activities to deliver a seamless resident experience.
- Support lease renewal efforts through resident outreach, follow-up, and documentation assistance.
- Participate in resident retention initiatives designed to improve satisfaction and reduce turnover.
- Conduct vacant apartment follow-up to ensure readiness and availability for leasing opportunities.
- Monitor and support quality control efforts related to apartment readiness and turn processes.
- Assist in identifying and resolving operational gaps that may impact occupancy goals.
- Coordinate communication between office and maintenance teams regarding move-ins, make‑readies, and resident concerns.
- Help track and report on community activity related to occupancy, renewals, and resident engagement.
- Support outreach marketing initiatives to generate traffic and increase community visibility.
- Participate in resident events, local marketing efforts, and community engagement activities.
- Assist with lead nurturing and follow-up efforts as directed by management.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents.
- Maintain positive resident relationships through professional, timely communication.
- Help create a welcoming, engaging, and resident-focused community atmosphere.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Previous experience in multifamily housing, leasing, customer service, hospitality, or property management preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software preferred
- Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a strong work ethic
