Service BDC Agent
Toyota of North Austin, part of the fast-growing Group 1 Automotive, is seeking a friendly, motivated Service BDC Agent to join our team.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for many of our service customers. You will answer questions, schedule appointments, explain recommended maintenance, and help create a smooth and welcoming customer experience. Responsibilities:
- Communicate professionally with customers by phone, email, and text
- Respond promptly to service inquiries and appointment requests
- Schedule, confirm, and follow up on service appointments
- Make outbound calls to customers regarding maintenance needs and dealership services
- Follow established call scripts and customer communication processes
- Develop a strong understanding of available maintenance and repair services
- Maintain accurate customer records and document all interactions
- Assist customers with questions regarding dealership policies and procedures
- Process customer payments and provide accurate receipts when needed
- Work toward individual and departmental appointment and productivity goals
- Partner with service advisors and dealership leadership to deliver an excellent customer experience
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service, call center, telemarketing, collections, or appointment-setting experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude
- Comfortable managing a high volume of calls and customer interactions
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership systems
- Strong organization and follow-up skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Valid driver's license required
