Dental Assistant

Overview

We are seeking Dental Assistants who are passionate about making a difference in our community. Our Dental Assistants assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a dentist.
Includes $750 Signing Bonus!

• Greet and prepare dental patients
• Assist dentists during procedures and maintain instruments and supplies
• Perform basic and some moderately complex dental procedures
• Assist in handing instruments and materials to dentists and keep patients’ mouths dry and clear by using suction or other devices
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Prepare trays of instruments for dental procedures and instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care
• Take and develop x-rays and prepare dental compounds
• Take pouring and trimming dental impressions and seating temporary restorations

Minimum requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred experience/skills

• Experience as a Dental Assistant, minimum of one (1) year
• Proficiency with EMR system
• Bilingual English/Spanish language skills are a definite plus
