Heartland Dental is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. Our state‑of‑the‑art practice provides outstanding patient care and supports continuous learning. You will work with iTero, Implants, Dentrix, and a team dedicated to patient excellence.

- Greet and welcome patients, ensuring comfort and providing education.
- Conduct thorough health history reviews to provide quality care.
- Take and process X‑rays and other diagnostic assessments with iTero 3D scanner and digital photography.
- Provide chairside assistance during a wide variety of procedures using four‑handed dentistry.
- Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
- Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC recommendations.
- Manage supply and inventory levels, placing and expediting orders as needed.
- Collaborate with providers and team to maximize office workflow using Heartland Dental systems.

- Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment.
- Required under the state dental practice act: dental assistant certification and/or x‑ray certification.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- HIPAA training and ability to protect PHI.
- 1+ years in a dental setting.
- Experience with Dentrix or other dental software.
- Dental assisting school certification.
- Perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
- Lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
- Attend virtual training sessions periodically.
- TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions; test will be arranged during pre‑employment.
