Daybreak Dental, a respected modern dental practice located in the heart of South Austin, is seeking a Part‑Time Dental Hygienist to join a dedicated team focused on personalized patient care.
Key facts:
- Non‑remote; must work from the South Austin location.
- Part‑time: 3 days per week, no evenings or weekends.
- Conduct initial dental assessments and interpret patient dental records.
- Perform routine dental cleanings and assist in the management of oral diseases.
- Educate patients on maintaining proper oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
- Collaborate with dentists to plan patient care and treatments for oral health concerns.
- Ensure strict compliance with office hygiene protocols, standards of dental care, and infection control measures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation as per practice requirements.
- Utilize dental radiography equipment safely and effectively according to established guidelines.
- Provide support and insight into comprehensive dental care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Recommend products and devices for improved oral health maintenance.
- Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies to enhance patient care.
- Active Texas Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.
- Strong communication and patient education skills.
- Experience with Open Dental software preferred.
- Solid understanding of periodontal disease management and hygiene protocols.
- Comprehensive knowledge of infection control standards and clinical documentation requirements.
- Previous experience in a dental office environment preferred.
- Friendly, positive demeanor that fosters a cooperative and collaborative team environment.
- Ability to handle dental instruments and equipment with precision and care.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning in dental hygiene and related fields.
$60–$65 per hour, based on experience.
Monthly bonus opportunities based on overall office production.
