• Licensure:
  Valid Dental Assistant license as required by the state of Texas.

  Proficiency in Open Dental software is preferred; strong knowledge of dental terminology and radiographic equipment.

  Outstanding positive attitude, excellent verbal/written communication, and the ability to build strong relationships with patients.
• Adaptability:
  Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Compliance:
  Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations and office safety protocols.

• Clinical Support:
  Assist the doctor with all dental procedures and take high-quality radiographs using standard equipment.
• Patient Flow Management:
  Maintain an efficient schedule to ensure zero patient wait time; remain engaged and ready for all assigned shifts.
• Patient Care:
  Provide outstanding chairside manner, verify health histories (medications/dental impact), and ensure patient comfort.
• Documentation:
  Review charts prior to doctor arrival, transcribe treatment notes accurately, and maintain strict HIPAA compliance.
• Sanitation:
  Ensure treatment rooms and the general office environment are clean and meet safety standards.
