Senior Project Architect

At Jacobs, we challenge what is currently accepted, so we can shape innovative and lasting solutions in Architecture. By joining us as a Project Architect, you’ll research, program, plan, design, and administer building projects for clients in a variety of industries (examples include data center, commercial and advanced manufacturing). You’ll also have the chance to utilize your technical expertise to mentor other professionals.

This is a hybrid all US location opportunity, allowing candidates the flexibility to work remotely and report into a local Jacobs office for team meetings and collaboration.

Base pay range

$/yr - $/yr

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver excellence in all phases of projects, from planning through construction administration and close-out.
  • Maintain firm-wide quality standards while working closely with technical leadership and engineering discipline leads.
  • Understand design intent and goals for successful implementation for various building design projects.
  • Participate in advanced technology facilities and cutting edge design solutions supporting development of Open AI and other critical facilities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor in Architecture from an accredited Architectural Program.
  • 15+ years of professional experience.
  • Professional Architectural License and be licensed in multiple states.
  • Demonstrated program experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Adobe suite.
  • Extensive experience with building codes and other regulations required.
  • Understanding of scopes of work, developing budgets, and reviewing schedules.
  • Ability to work well across multiple teams and lead small architectural teams.
  • Ability to travel to project sites in the US.
Preferred additional qualifications
  • Masters in Architecture.
  • Experience with designing advanced facilities (Data Centers, Life Science or other Industrial Facilities that also include office environments).
  • Participation in professional organizations.
  • LEED AP credentials.
