Job Description & How to Apply Below

Great products aren’t just something you wear—they’re meant to be used, relied on, and lived in. We’re looking for an experienced Apparel Designer with a focus on men’s and youth products (athletic, lifestyle, tops, bottoms, and outerwear) to join our Austin-based team and help shape the future of our brand.

This is a highly influential role for a designer who excels at blending fit, fabric, and function, and who’s excited to create seasonal collections in a fast-moving, collaborative environment. The position reports to the Design Director and is based at our Austin headquarters, with relocation support available.

What You’ll Do:
  • Design seasonal assortments across tops and bottoms, ensuring alignment with brand vision, customer needs, and pricing strategies
  • Collaborate with the Design Director to develop seasonal narratives grounded in trend, market, and brand insights
  • Research trends, fabrics, trims, and construction methods relevant to each category
  • Create original concepts, sketches, and detailed tech packs from initial idea through production handoff
  • Help establish fabric and trim direction in partnership with sourcing teams and mill vendors
  • Work closely with Product Development/Technical Design to oversee fit, construction, and costing
  • Participate in fittings, delivering clear feedback to maintain consistent fit across categories
  • Foster adherence to seasonal timelines while meeting key calendar milestones
  • Maintain high design standards, quality expectations, and brand consistency
  • Occasional travel for both vendor visits and inspiration
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design (BA, BFA, or BS) or equivalent professional experience
  • 5 - 7+ years of experience designing (mostly men’s) apparel
  • Knowledge of fit, pattern making, and garment construction
  • Experience across a range of categories, including shirts, pants, shorts and layering
  • Ability to carry designs from concept to production, including BOMs, fit notes, and vendor communication
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and PLM systems
  • Experience using AI-driven design tools for ideation, visual concepting, mood boards, and early exploration of color, print, and fabric ideas
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, cross-functional mindset
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and passionate about design
Benefits & Perks:
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Paid parental leave
  • Paid vacation and sick time
  • Generous employee discount
  • Annual company offsites
