Role Description

The Director of Interiors is a full-time, on‑site role based in Austin, TX. This role involves leading commercial interior design projects from concept to completion, including space planning, design development, and final documentation. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include creating comprehensive construction drawings, coordinating with architects and contractors, selecting FF&E, and ensuring timely delivery of projects that align with client visions, budgets, and timelines.

Additionally, the Director will oversee design teams, maintain relationships with clients, and uphold high‑quality standards across all projects.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design to create functional and aesthetically compelling environments.
  • Knowledge and experience in Architecture and Construction Drawings to manage and execute design concepts effectively.
  • Skill in FF&E selection and specification to ensure designs are consistent, efficient, and meet client expectations.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills to oversee teams and establish positive client relationships.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with relevant experience in commercial design.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and standards is essential.
  • Proficiency in industry‑standard design and drafting software, such as AutoCAD or similar platforms.
