Job Title: Manager of Design

• 7+ years of UX/UI design experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
• Expertise in user research, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design
• Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing design teams
• Strong proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design rationale and collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and working in fast‑paced environments
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on data‑driven decision‑making

• Experience with AI‑driven design or familiarity with AI tools like Figma Make, Loveable
• Background in transportation, government, or industry sectors related to safety or IoT
• Experience building or scaling design systems
• Prior experience working in a startup or high‑growth environment
• Advanced degrees in Design, HCI, Psychology, or related fields

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related discipline
• Master’s degree is a plus
• Demonstrated success in leading cross‑functional teams and managing multiple product initiatives in a fast‑changing setting
