Job Title: Manager of Design

RequiredSkills
- 7+ years of UX/UI design experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Expertise in user research, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design
- Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing design teams
- Strong proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design rationale and collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and working in fast‑paced environments
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on data‑driven decision‑making
- Experience with AI‑driven design or familiarity with AI tools like Figma Make, Loveable
- Background in transportation, government, or industry sectors related to safety or IoT
- Experience building or scaling design systems
- Prior experience working in a startup or high‑growth environment
- Advanced degrees in Design, HCI, Psychology, or related fields
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related discipline
- Master’s degree is a plus
- Demonstrated success in leading cross‑functional teams and managing multiple product initiatives in a fast‑changing setting
