Sr Project Architect; Data Centers

Job Location & Remote Policy

Available at any location in the United States. Candidates may work remotely; hybrid schedule requires occasional visits to local Jacobs offices for team meetings.

Senior Project Architect – Diverse Portfolio Opportunity.

• Research, program, plan, design, and administer building projects for clients across multiple industries (data centers, commercial, advanced manufacturing, etc.).
• Apply expertise in architectural design, zoning, building codes, building systems & materials.
• Mentor less‑experienced Architects and Designers, collaborating closely with technical and engineering leads.
• Deliver excellence in all project phases—from planning through construction administration and close‑out—while maintaining firm‑wide quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teammates, to ensure design intent and goals are achieved.

• Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited program.
• 15+ years of professional experience.
• Professional architectural license(s) and ability to be licensed in multiple states.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Suite.
• Extensive experience with building codes and regulations.
• Understanding of scopes of work, budget development, and schedule review.
• Ability to lead small architectural teams and work across multiple disciplines.
• Willingness to travel to project sites in the United States.

• Master’s in Architecture.
• Experience designing advanced facilities such as data centers, life science, or industrial facilities with office environments.
• Participation in professional organizations.
• LEED AP credentials.
