Technical Designer - Junior

Gensler is a global design firm committed to delivering best‑in‑class design. We are looking for a Technical Designer to support project delivery at our Austin, TX office.

• Collaborate with Design Directors and project teams on conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and production.
• Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions.
• Participate in all project phases—conceptual, schematic, design development, construction documents, and production.
• Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet project objectives.
• Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings.
• Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination.
• Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
• 0–5 years of related project experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes and accessibility requirements.
• Ability to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development.
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey design ideas quickly.
• Quick learner who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills.

The position is in‑person and located in the Austin, Texas area. Non‑local candidates are welcome if they are open to relocating.
