We need a Gensler Architect to collaborate with our design team to develop innovative design solutions and coordinate the design through the construction documentation phase. Your technical acumen in Revit and 3D modeling will drive client projects from concept through build in a collaborative team.
What You Will Do- Collaborate with our Sports team to deliver informed project solutions based on market expertise and an understanding of client goals;
- Document collaboration with consultants (structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustical, accessibility, building envelope, life safety, etc.);
- Coordinate with the project team, client, vendors, contractors, and consultants;
- Resolve complex technical and design issues with the team to produce innovative, technical, constructible solutions;
- Direct production of drawings, specifications and construction administration tasks;
- Deliver documents with design intent and top‑notch technical quality;
- Process submittals/substitution requests during construction and address RFIs;
- Interface with building and permitting officials during permitting and construction phases;
- Actively participate and contribute to the financial performance of the project;
- Review and contribute to proposals and contracts with the Design Manager;
- Establish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationships.
- Registered Architect required;
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program required;
- 5‑10 years of related experience, with demonstrated success and/or interest working on sports projects;
- Strong proficiency in Revit, 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software;
- Full knowledge of architectural principles/practices;
- Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures;
- Experience with the entire project lifecycle and design process through post‑occupancy;
- Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development;
- Well‑rounded, strategic thinker with an integrated approach to design, management, and technical project resolution who can help shape a vision for the future.
