Designer II – Interior Design
Ryan Companies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Designer II to join our A+E team and deliver exceptional interior design solutions.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with clients, architects, project managers, construction teams, and consultants to develop documentation for coordination and construction.
- Participate in all project phases from programming to construction administration, focusing on interior design codes, details, and constructability.
- Create a comprehensive set of interior design documents to meet project goals, milestones, and schedule.
- Develop and implement an overall design palette that supports aesthetic, budget, and functional goals.
- Advise clients on interior finishes and material selections.
- Lead design meetings, consultant meetings, and project team meetings.
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues and interior code requirements.
- Implement QA/QC procedures and project specifications for interior work.
- Communicate scope deviations and work with the team to resolve them.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff.
- Professional Interior Design degree or equivalent field experience.
- 4+ years of interior design experience.
- Interior design licensure.
- Proficiency with Revit, Adobe Suite, Enscape, Sketch Up, and Bluebeam.
- Experience with LEED AP and/or WELL AP certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
The base salary varies based on location and applicant qualifications and may include commission or incentive programs.
