Position OverviewAre you an architectural expert driven by the technical "how" behind visionary design? We are seeking a high-impact Technical Architect to serve as the bridge between creative concept and structural reality. In this role, you will do more than draft documents; you will architect the future of community‑critical infrastructure. You will lead the technical charge on complex Healthcare and Education projects, ensuring that the mission of every client is etched into the very envelope of the built environment.

CoreResponsibilities
Technical Leadership: Direct the development of comprehensive construction documents from initial concept through final delivery, ensuring every detail aligns with the project mission.
Building Envelope Mastery: Act as the firm's authority on exterior envelope systems, waterproofing, and technical detailing to ensure long‑term building performance.
Design Integration: Translate sophisticated design concepts into technically sound architectural solutions through all phases of the project lifecycle.
Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain high‑level verbal, graphic, and written communication with clients, reinforcing the firm's reputation for reliability and expertise.
Multidisciplinary
Collaboration:
Synchronize with in‑house teams across three regional offices to ensure seamless project execution and cross‑pollination of technical standards.Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous technical reviews of documents and materials, ensuring compliance with rigorous healthcare and education safety standards.
Strategic Problem Solving: Navigate fast‑paced project schedules by prioritizing tasks and identifying innovative solutions to complex site and material constraints.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an NAAB‑accredited program.
Licensure: Registered Architect (RA) required;
Texas licensure preferred.Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in architectural design and technical documentation.
Technical Expertise: Deep, specialized knowledge of exterior envelope systems and general building materials.
Software Proficiency: Advanced command of Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Sector Expertise: Specialized experience in Healthcare (OSHPD/Texas Health standards) or large‑scale K‑12/Higher Education projects.
Digital Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch Up, Newforma Project Center, and MS Office 365.
Professional Presence: Proven ability to lead client meetings and represent the firm in highly visible project environments.
