At Cutters Landscaping & Pools, we design and build some of the most unique outdoor living spaces in Central Texas. From custom pools and outdoor kitchens to complete luxury landscapes, our projects transform how people live at home.
We’re growing rapidly and are looking for an experienced Senior Pool Designer to help lead our design department. This is an opportunity to work directly with homeowners, create high‑end custom pool designs, and help shape one of the fastest-growing outdoor living companies in Texas.If you’re passionate about design, enjoy collaborating with clients, and want to see your concepts become reality, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do- Meet with homeowners for onsite design consultations
- Design custom pools, spas, and outdoor living environments
- Create conceptual designs, 3D renderings, and construction drawings
- Develop permit‑ready plans and construction details
- Build project budgets and cost sheets alongside our estimating team
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams throughout the build
- Guide clients through material selections and design revisions
- Help establish and improve design standards and processes
- Mentor junior designers as our team continues to grow
- 5+ years of custom pool design experience
- Strong portfolio of completed residential pool projects
- Advanced experience with Pool Studio
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build trust with high‑end residential clients
- Knowledge of structural, hydraulic, and construction fundamentals
- Self‑motivated with strong organizational skills
- Experience preparing permit and construction plans is preferred
- Experience with Lumion, Sketch Up, or other rendering software
- Knowledge of Texas permitting and residential construction
- Sales or design‑build experience
