Position DescriptionWe are seeking a high-level Interior Designer Level I or II (Interior Design Team Member) candidate for our Austin, Texas office! Responsibilities include support of project teams and completion of project tasks needed for successful project delivery. Candidates will need to possess a combination of technical skills including an understanding of regulations, operations, and knowledge of constructability. Effective communication skills are also needed to work with a team of diverse professionals.
The successful candidate takes the initiative, demonstrates flexibility and accountability, completes deadlines on schedule, and is self-directed.
- Experience in Project Management, including renovation projects
- Ability to create and present professional presentations
- Lead projects directly with clients
- Proficient in creating and executing concepts through finishes
- Experience in interior architecture and lighting
- Capable of taking a project through design and construction integrating interior design and architecture, detailing, finishes, furnishings, document coordination, and review
- Product research, FF&A budgeting, purchasing, and installation coordination experience
- Understanding of building and life safety codes
- Motivated, proactive, teamwork oriented, and flexible
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Project travel is required
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design is required
- Minimum 4-8 years of experience in an Interior Design or Architectural firm
- Proficiency in BIM software
- Experience in Senior Living, Multi
- Family, or Student Housing - Must be legally authorized to work for an employer in the United States
- Full-time annual salaried, in-office position
