Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site/hybrid role based in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area for an Interior Designer. The role involves guiding interior design projects from concept to completion, managing the creation of interior layouts, developing detailed construction drawings, assisting with FF&E, and coordinating with architecture teams across a variety of project types.
Duties / Responsibilities- Design and coordination on projects that meet schedule and budget requirements
- Creation and/or execution of design concepts
- Creation of renderings, graphics, and presentation documents
- Creation of Construction Documentation
- Analysis and evaluation of commercial codes and accessibility regulations
- Permit processing coordination
- FF&E selection and procurement coordination
- Executing projects from Programming through Construction Administration
- Consultant management
- Field Verification
- Client interaction and project presentations
- Assist with maintaining and improving office design, detail, and specification standards
- Industry best practices research and implementation
- Collaboration with teammates
- 4-7 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design (CIDA accredited university)
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Enscape/rendering software, Bluebeam, Procore, and AI software
- Candidate desires to pursue NCIDQ path or has NCIDQ certification
- Excellent communication and client relation skills
- Efficiency in work process
- Proactive critical path task management
- Organized and detail oriented
- Innate and strong design sense
- Programming experience
- Strong space planning abilities
- Commercial building and accessibility code knowledge
- Design presentation experience (preferred)
- Consultant interaction experience
- Construction Administration experience

- Multi-family experience (preferred, not required)
