Jeppesen Fore Flight is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our design team. In this role, you will play a key part in defining and delivering the next generation of aeronautical web products and services used by pilots and dispatchers worldwide.
You are a strategic, user-centered designer who can independently lead complex projects from discovery through delivery. You thrive in ambiguity, influence cross-functional partners, and elevate the quality of both the product and the team. You bring a strong point of view on design and help raise the bar for craft, systems thinking, and decision-making across projects. You are also comfortable leveraging AI-enhanced tools and workflows to improve design efficiency and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead design efforts for complex, high-impact web product areas from discovery through delivery
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to define problems, shape solutions, and drive alignment on user and business outcomes
- Drive clarity in ambiguous spaces by identifying opportunities, constraints, and tradeoffs
- Create and guide the development of high-quality design artifacts, including flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes
- Leverage research, data, and AI-assisted tools to inform decisions and accelerate iteration
- Plan and conduct user research and usability testing to validate solutions
- Partner with engineering to ensure high-quality implementation and user experience
- Lead the evolution of our design system and shared patterns, ensuring consistency and scalability across teams
- Provide mentorship and guidance to other designers on the team, offering support, feedback, and perspective to help them succeed
- Influence product strategy and advocate for user needs in cross-functional discussions, helping shape roadmap and priorities
- Contribute to team culture, processes, and continuous improvement
- 6+ years of experience designing and shipping digital products
- A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking, impact, and leadership
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior partners
- Experience leading design work in cross-functional teams and driving projects from ambiguity to clarity
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive alignment across competing priorities
- Deep experience solving complex, data-heavy product and user experience challenges in a domain such as healthcare, finance, or another complex, regulated domain, with a track record of delivering measurable impact
- Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma
- Strong understanding of Material Design and other common web application design systems
- Experience planning and conducting user research
- Strong experience using AI tools and workflows to enhance personal productivity and design processes
- Experience designing mapping or cartography-heavy products
- Interest in aviation or experience working in the aviation industry

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well market and business considerations:
Summary Pay Range: $131,000-$160,000
