This role offers the opportunity to lead technical project development from concept through construction, work directly with clients and consultants, and play a key role in shaping innovative, high-quality built environments. Key Responsibilities- Lead the technical development, coordination, and refinement of projects through all phases of design and construction documentation.
- Produce and oversee construction documents, detailing, building systems integration, material selection, and specification coordination.
- Manage project technical documentation, including change orders, proposal requests, scope revisions, and project manuals.
- Conduct site observations, prepare field reports, and support project closeout activities, including punch lists and occupancy certifications.
- Serve as a project leader by managing small teams, supporting staffing and scheduling efforts, and collaborating closely with project leadership and clients.
- Licensed Architect with a degree in Architecture or equivalent professional experience, and a minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible architectural experience.
- Strong background in technical design, construction documentation, field observation, building materials, specifications, and construction methods.
- Experience working on multifamily, high-rise, or higher education projects, with knowledge of building and zoning codes and regulatory processes.
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up or Rhino, rendering platforms, and Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated ability to develop proposals and presentations, manage quality control, coordinate consultants, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
