Position Overview:

The Architectural Project Coordinator supports the successful execution of custom residential construction projects by coordinating documentation, communication, and administrative workflows across the design and construction teams. This role blends organization, schedule support, record management, and proactive follow-through to help keep projects aligned with scope, budget, and timeline expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Design Coordination & Execution.
  • Provide architectural support in the planning, design, and coordination of projects across all phases of design and construction.
  • Support the Project Designer in translating design intent into coordinated, buildable documents.
  • Manage assigned tasks and deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and on-time completion.
  • Coordinate internally with design, construction, and project management teams.
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and resolve design coordination issues.
  • Design Documentation & Drafting Quality.
  • Produce and revise accurate, complete design drawings using Revit.
  • Ensure all drawings and related documents fully comply with firm standards.
  • Maintain organized drawing sets and document version control.
  • Incorporate consultant, vendor, and contractor input into design drawing.
  • Assist in quality control reviews prior to document issuance.
  • Schedule, Milestone & Deliverable Tracking.
  • Monitor project design schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time completion.
  • Coordinate deadlines with consultants, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Monitor progress and identify potential risks that may impact schedule or scope.
  • Support the project team in meeting overall project schedule commitments.
  • Project Collaboration, Field Support & Quality Assurance.
  • Participate in and document client meetings, presentations, and design reviews.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and the construction team.
  • Assist with site visits, field coordination, and responses to RFIs.
  • Support resolution of construction issues related to drawings, field conditions, and design intent.
  • Engage in professional development related to best practices, design standards, codes, and construction methods.
