Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist

This vital role allows you to provide expert obstetric care in a supportive environment, ensuring positive outcomes for mothers and their babies. We are seeking dedicated physicians committed to excellence and compassionate service to fill weekend shifts, helping us deliver quality healthcare seamlessly around the clock.

Required Skills:

  • MD or DO degree with valid medical license in Texas.
  • Board certification in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with OB experience.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license and DEA license.
  • Proven proficiency in obstetric emergencies, fetal monitoring, and neonatal resuscitation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and empathy.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience working in hospitalist or inpatient OB settings.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years hospitalist or OB hospitalist experience.
  • Prior locum tenens experience is a plus.
Other Requirements:
  • Availability to work weekend shifts as scheduled.
  • Compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations.
  • Must possess or obtain necessary state medical licenses and certifications.
  • Willingness to travel to various facilities if necessary, with applicable reimbursement for travel and lodging.
