Required Skills

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Active state medical license in Texas or eligibility for licensure
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid DEA license and current ACLS/PALS certification
• Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care and hospital-based obstetrics
• Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-pressure environments

Nice to Have Skills

• Previous locum or temporary hospitalist experience
• Experience working in a variety of hospital settings or with diverse patient populations
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Bilingual skills or multilingual proficiency

Preferred

Education and Experience

• Attainment of a Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
• Minimum of 2 years of obstetric hospitalist practice experience
• Recent experience in hospital settings with high obstetric volumes

Other Requirements

• Availability to work weekends (shift: weekends) starting from December 31, 2025
• Candidates must adhere to hospital policies, including licensure, certifications, and compliance with all relevant legal standards
• Willingness to travel, if required, and to participate in licensure or certification reimbursements

The hourly pay rate for this opportunity is $195.00, with benefits including competitive pay packages, weekly pay schedule via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage (W-2), a robust referral bonus program, 24/7 dedicated support team, paid sick time according to applicable laws, and reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and other expenses when applicable.
