- Primary AM or PM shifts -- typical chains of 3 - 4 shifts in a row
- Backup shift coverage included with primary shift assignment
- Surgical critical care at a level 2 trauma center
- Single coverage model
- Trauma/ACS coverage required -- blunt and penetrating cases
- Fellowship training required
- ATLS required
- 25 trauma cases in a level 1 or 2 setting within past 12 months required
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre‑paid travel and housing expenses
- Assignment details and time entry in online portal
