The Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin andDell Children's Medical Center (DCMC) is seeking a full-time pediatric cardiologist to serve an acute care cardiologist tosupport our rapidly growing team within the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease (TCPCHD) a collaboration between UT Health Austin (the clinical practice of Dell Medical School) and Dell Children's Medical Center, which was recentlyranked No.
10 in the nation for Pediatric Cardiology and Heart Surgery in the 2025-26 U.S. News & World Report Best Children's Hospitals rankings.
The Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin andDell Children's Medical Center (DCMC) is seeking a full-time pediatric cardiologist with additional fellowship training in advanced cardiac imaging to support our rapidly growing team withinthe Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease(TCPCHD). The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care, leadership, and innovation alongside ourteam of cardiologists and advanced practice providers.
Althoughpatient care is our primary focus, education and research are also encouraged and supported with access to dedicated research professionals including a statistician, research manager, and research coordinators. Our practice is located in central Austin,providing inpatient and outpatient support for all of central Texasand beyond.
The position encompasses responsibilities in patient care, program development and growth, team building, safety, quality and accessfor imaging services. This position will work with the Chief of Pediatric Cardiology and the leadership of the TCPCHD to execute onyearly personal and programmatic goals focused on the fundamentals of extraordinary care. Close collaboration with the Department of Radiology and various departments from UT Health and The Universityof Texas at Austin are expected and supported.
Routine patient carewill include:
Outpatient clinic, inpatient consultation,supervision of advanced practice providers, and hospital service.
