Currently seeking a Neuropsychologist to join a fast-paced, clinically focused practice in Austin is a preference but open to Dallas, then San Antonio. This is a role centered on trauma recovery, where you will conduct evaluations that directly shape treatment decisions for patients recovering from motor vehicle collisions and other injuries.

- Utilize a telehealth model with occasional time required in the clinic.
- Perform comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for adults with traumatic brain injuries, motor vehicle collision injuries, and workplace injuries.
- Differentiate neurologic injury from psychological and functional contributors using standardized testing batteries.
- Perform symptom validity and performance validity testing when clinically indicated.
- Produce comprehensive, scientifically supported reports detailing diagnosis, functional limitations, prognosis, and treatment recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with treating neurologists, physiatrists, therapists, and rehabilitation providers.
- Work comfortably within a medico-legal environment while maintaining clinical independence and ethical standards.
- Educate patients and families regarding cognitive recovery and expectations.
- Based in Dallas, Austin, or San Antonio; ~5 travel days/month to the other locations for two for in-person assessments
- Mix of telemed screening + in-person 4-hour assessments; no exact split, plan on mostly in-office
- Target ~22 patients/month
- Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
- Ph.D. or Psy.
D. in Neuropsychology. - Licensed or license-eligible as a Neuropsychologist in the State of Texas.
- Completion of a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology.
- Board certification (ABPP-CN) preferred, but not required.
- Experience evaluating mild to moderate traumatic brain injury (TBI), concussions, and cognitive disorders.
- Strong interest in working with motor vehicle accident and personal injury patients.
- Familiarity with performance validity testing, symptom validity testing, and evidence-based neuropsychological assessment.
