Seeking an Obstetrics & Gynecology clinician for a locum tenens opportunity in Austin, Texas to provide comprehensive care. The role involves managing annual deliveries and gynecologic services, handling OBED within 30 minutes, and offering backup and oversight for OB residents during assigned shifts. The clinician will work in an inpatient setting equipped with a Level IV nursery, 24/7 anesthesia coverage, and MFM onsite support.

Practice Info

• Inpatient setting
• 600 annual deliveries and 150 annual gynecologic surgeries
• 8 Labor and Delivery rooms, 5 postpartum rooms, and a Level IV nursery
• Support staff includes OB Residents, 24/7 anesthesia, and MFM onsite
• EPIC EMR system utilized for patient documentation
• Patient population:

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services managing 600 annual deliveries
• Perform OBED within 30 minutes
• Provide backup and oversight for OB residents during assigned shifts
• Maintain continuous availability for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
• Utilize the EPIC EMR system for patient documentation
