Summary of Position

St. Michael's Catholic Prep seeks a full-time, on-campus Visual Arts teacher for grades 9-12. This position requires a dynamic, innovative educator to teach at many high school levels, including Honors or AP courses. Responsibilities include teaching assigned sections of courses, leading an advisory, participating in ongoing community service projects and retreats with students and fellow teachers, and the opportunity to design and implement elective courses.

We are looking for an instructor who inspires our community to new depths in the visual arts, continues to grow and deepen our current art curriculum, and embraces graphic and digital media. This is an exempt faculty position. The employee will work for 10 months of the year, starting in August 2026.

Visual Art Specific
  • Provide instruction by which students develop aesthetic concepts and appreciations and the ability to make qualitative judgments about art.
