To support our mission, we are looking for a Technology Instructor II-IV to join the Technology Department. This position is located at Criss Cole Rehab Center, 4800 North Lamar, Austin. TWC is not considering applications from individuals who require sponsorship for an employment visa, including those currently on student or postgraduate visas. You must be a Texas resident to work for the Texas Workforce Commission or be willing to relocate to Texas.

- Teach and instruct students in skills necessary for achievement of independent living and work.
- Coordinate appropriate services for students from assessment results.
- Assist in planning or deliver training plans to students and provide community resources.
- Assist in administering and scoring evaluations for training potential and program development.
- Assist in reviewing documentation, providing and coordinating vocational rehabilitative services.
- Assist in developing and evaluating community resources, providing information and referrals.
- Assist in planning or develop lesson plans; identify instructional strategies; develop training aids, manuals, and other material.
- Provide or facilitate presentations to community groups concerning available services.
- Notify staff of progress about the student and submit reports.
- May coordinate the development and implementation of individual lesson plans.
- May assist in job coordinating functions.
- May assist staff or external organizations in conducting specialized casework in connection with research and demonstration projects or activities; may deliver, install, and set up adaptive aids and devices; may supervise the work of others; may coordinate development or develop curriculum.
