Job DetailsWe are seeking a young scholar specializing in Taiwan studies in either humanities or social sciences, or both. The Postdoctoral Fellow will conduct substantial research on Taiwan-related topics, including politics, society, culture, literature, media, and diaspora; engage in intellectual exchanges with faculty and students; teach at least one Taiwan-related course; organize academic activities; maintain the Center website; and assist the Editors-in-Chief of the Center's online journals, Taiwan Lit and Taiwan Politics.
They will also give a talk on their research products, present at scholarly conferences, and work closely with Drs. Yvonne Chang (Asian Studies) and Tse‑min Lin (Government).
- Conduct substantial research on Taiwan-related topics, including politics, society, culture, literature, media, and diaspora.
- Teach at least one Taiwan-related course, organize academic activities, maintain the Center website, and assist in the publication of Taiwan Lit and Taiwan Politics.
- Actively engage in intellectual exchanges with faculty and students in Asian Studies or Government.
Ph.D. required, completed at most three years prior to start date.
Salary and Working ConditionsSalary: $54,999
