Positions Purpose
Concordia University Texas is currently searching for an Adjunct (part-time) Instructor in Accounting to teach two Summer 2026 sections of MBA Financial Accounting and Management.
The candidate must be available to teach during the following times and modalities:
Section AOn ground (Austin Main Campus) and Online. Candidates must be available to teach a portion of this course in person on our main campus in Austin on Friday, May 15, Saturday, May 16, and Sunday, May 17. The remainder of course instruction will take place online from June 29, 2026 through August 23, 2026.
Section BOnline only from June 29, 2026 through August 23, 2026.
Required Knowledge, Abilities & Principles- Master’s Degree or higher in Business or related field required, PhD preferred
- 18 graduate hours in Accounting required, CPA preferred
- Experience teaching in Higher Education preferred
- Experience with Blackboard Ultra or similar LMS preferred
- Love and passion for teaching and engaging diverse student populations required
- Ability to articulate and model the Concordia University Texas’ mission, vision, and values
