St. Edward's University, a nationally ranked, independent Catholic university and Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI), invites applications for an adjunct position in the Department of Kinesiology, beginning January 2026.

The successful candidate will have a background in kinesiology and an interest in teaching undergraduate courses to kinesiology majors. There are no formal academic advising or university service responsibilities associated with this position, but opportunities to become involved in the Department, the School of Natural Sciences, and the University may be available.
QualificationsFor consideration, candidates must possess a master's degree or a minimum of 18 graduate hours in kinesiology or a related field. A PhD in Kinesiology or a related field is preferred.
ResponsibilitiesEssential
Responsibilities Include:
Candidates should have an interest in and the ability or potential to teach undergraduate courses, which may include Safety and First Aid, Prevention and Treatment of Athletic Injuries, or Coaching Theory; and support a diverse student body.
- Prepare and teach assigned kinesiology course(s).
- Other duties as assigned.
