Are you energetic, positive, and ready to have fun while making a real impact? We’re looking for reliable After School Teachers to join our elementary enrichment programs in Southwest Austin!
Position Details- Job Type: Part-time, non-exempt, seasonal (August 2026 - May 2027)
- Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm (required) - Start Date:
Mid-August 2026 - Location:
On-site at Austin ISD elementary schools (11 schools in southwest Austin)
We partner with Austin ISD to provide after school care on-site at 11 elementary schools in the southwest Austin area.

Our mission is to offer a safe and fun enrichment program where kids are active, learn essential life skills, and build a sense of community using after school as our teaching arena.

- Teachers actively supervise planned activity centers, free play, and facilitate games that emphasize teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Our teachers lead engaging activities that allow students to both explore new talents and build on known skills.
- Activities include sports, arts and crafts, painting, science and engineering, gym games, sewing, and cooking.
- Provide mentorship to the students and foster positive relationships with students and parents.
- Serve as a teacher and positive role model to the students.
- Ensure the health and safety of the students at all times, and compliance with licensing rules and regulations.
- Pay Range: $21 – $22 per hour, depending on education and experience

- Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Preferred: 1+ years of work experience or experience working with children
- Required: Ability to work 5 days per week, Monday – Friday, 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm
- Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus
- Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs and be able to stand and be physically active for long periods of time
- Joy for children and a desire to make a difference in their lives
- Candidates must meet all TDFPS requirements, have reliable transportation, and be dedicated and very dependable
- Must pass a state-run criminal background check before starting employment
