NOTE:

This position is only open to Texas State University students who have already been placed as Resident Teachers in Navarro ISD for the  school year. No other applicants will be considered.

PREP Resident Teacher Annual Pay: $20,000

Purpose:

Residents engage in deep clinical practice under the supervision of a trained host teacher three days per week and serve as district substitute teachers one day per week.

Selection Criteria:

* Meet the criteria defined by the Texas Education Agency and Texas State University

* Demonstrate a genuine interest in Navarro ISD

Roles & Responsibilities :

* Perform all the required tasks and activities associated with the Texas State University Teacher Residency program.

* Serve as a district substitute teacher one day per week.
