Job Summary
The Clinical Training Specialist is responsible for facilitating training and developmental experiences that support employee performance, cultural competence, learning, and personal growth. Under the direction of the Clinical Training Manager, the Specialist implements best practices to ensure that course content and delivery reflect current trends in adult learning. The Clinical Training Specialist is a strong presenter and can communicate effectively verbally and in writing to diverse audiences and group sizes.
Key Responsibilities- In-class instruction is determined based on agency needs.
- Update training content according to best practices in cultural competency and adult learning principles.
- Guide subject matter experts toward training strategies that lead to on-the-job performance improvement.
- Design and produce learning materials in a variety of formats, including print, graphics, audio, video, animation, and multimedia to support teaching, learning, and on-the-job information needs.
- Provide support to instructors, including quality reviews of agency training content, recommend improvements to course content and delivery, and share resources to improve classroom engagement.
- Implement best practices in the use of technology and multimedia hardware/software to improve learner engagement and understanding.
- Contribute to ongoing professional development communications, including the agency newsletter, SharePoint website, and other marketing avenues.
- Maintain awareness of mandatory training requirements outlined by the Texas Administrative Code, and other regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Participate in committees that advance staff development.
This position works under general supervision with moderate latitude for initiative and independent judgment. The Clinical Training Specialist travels to multiple Integral Care sites to facilitate in-person classes.
Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education- Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Required
- Minimum of 2 Years of prior experience in performing mental health assessments and treatment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience developing course materials and facilitating training.
Preferred
- 2 years of project management.
- 1 - 3 years of experience using software to create eLearning courses.
- Experience in a healthcare education environment.
- Working knowledge of instructional design concepts, including the ADDIE model, adult learning theory, and rapid curriculum development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Full-Time.
WorkdaysMonday - Friday.
Workhours8:00AM - 5:00PM.
Salary$64,181.06 - $81,824.12 annually.
