Training & development

We’re looking for coaches who can bring enthusiasm, responsibility, and love for children and soccer. As a Soccer Shots soccer coach, you will be the face of our organization, running 30–45 minute soccer sessions for children at schools, parks, and public spaces. Your role is to create an awesome experience for each child while maintaining high standards and fostering a fun, engaging environment.

• Must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and background check
• Must have a reliable car
• Ability to work independently and show up on time to all scheduled locations each week
• Commit to a minimum of one year of service
• Coach a minimum of 30–35 sessions per week during season (40+ weeks out of the year)
• When not coaching, be expected to take initiative with administrative tasks to support the business
• Coaching Saturday mornings is required

Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program for ages 2–8, focusing on character development. Our caring team positively impacts children’s lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum, and communication.

We provide comprehensive training and certification, ongoing evaluation, and continuous curriculum updates aligned with early childhood education standards. Coaches are evaluated not only on skill but on their ability to engage and inspire children. All team members are excellent communicators with children, parents, and partners, and are committed to timely, responsive communication.

Our developmentally appropriate curriculum emphasizes character development and skill building, guided by childhood education specialists, professional soccer players, and licensed coaches. We continually reassess our curriculum to stay current with education standards.
