Catholic Part‑time PK 4 Teacher

We are seeking a Catholic part‑time PK 4 teacher to teach in a classical and Catholic preschool classroom for 13 hours per week in our Austin, TX Center. This position does not require a teaching certification or formal teaching experience, as we will provide comprehensive training. Standard computer skills—ideally with Google Suite or an equivalent—are a plus.

Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and demonstrate a deep love for the Catholic faith. Candidates should have strong communication skills, be well‑organized and timely, and uphold a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship. Experience such as homeschooling, working with homeschool children, ministry in a Catholic parish, teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes, teaching one’s own children, or teaching in a classical or private school is desirable but not required.

All staff complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training prior to teaching at Regina Caeli Academy. Employees are also required to have a clear background check.

Hours:

Mondays and Thursdays 9:00 am – 3:30 pm. Tutors must be willing to prepare for classes at home and come to class prepared to teach in a highly structured environment.

Applicants must attend mandatory training on August 4, 5, and 6, 2026 (8 am–5 pm; childcare is not provided, nursing babies are welcome). All employees of Regina Caeli are required to have a clear background check.
