What You Will Be Doing- Facilitating one-hour live workshops in life skills and social-emotional learning (SEL) for K-8 students, covering subjects such as public speaking and concentration, adhering to Alpha's established playbook
- Conducting daily motivational sessions that propel 100% of students toward weekly application-based goals through age-appropriate mechanisms including school currency and competitive leaderboards
- Developing Guides via observation, precise feedback, and direct skill-building to ensure they execute workshops with equivalent energy and exactness
- Analyzing Coachbot data and individual student profiles to pinpoint intervention needs, then delivering personal intervention
- Directly mentoring your assigned student cohort, demonstrating the coaching and motivational techniques you require from all Guides
- Creating lesson plans or building curriculum. Students progress through adaptive applications; your focus is elevating the people who support them.
- Delivering traditional classroom lectures. This role is 80% engagement specialist, 20% content expert; those seeking whiteboard instruction should look elsewhere.
- Compromising standards due to external pressure from parents or administration. A 99% score receives "not yet" — and you'll have institutional support to maintain that boundary.
- Spending hours in an office processing administrative documents. The majority of your workday involves direct engagement with students and Guides.
- Delaying performance discussions for weeks. Outcomes are visible in real-time via Coachbot, and adjustments occur immediately.
