Description

Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing sales focused training activities for admissions and business development departments. Identifies training needs and designs support materials including audio‑visual aids, computer presentations, manuals, workbooks, and scripts. Presents training sessions in a classroom setting and online to ensure that admissions and business development functions are completed in accordance with standards and regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBLITIES, AND EXPECTATIONS
  • Review federal and state requirements, research protocols, and other government, local, and Institute mandates to ensure that what is being taught is in compliance with these regulations;
  • Schedules orientations and related training events, onboards new admissions and business development trainees and determines pass/fail;
  • Works with hiring manager to train on skills improvement for underperforming employees;
  • Collaborates and builds productive relationships with cross‑functional stakeholders;
  • Create monitored simulations and problem‑solving scenarios, as well as interactive multi‑media presentations;
  • Stay updated with current market trends and the changing demands of the sales environment;
  • Work with the team to continually gather information, feedback, and input from the sales teams to provide insight and ideas to the content curriculum;
  • Develops and maintains metrics to evaluate performance.

REQUIRMENTS
  • 3-5 years of experience as a sales coach, training specialist, or a similar position
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current instructional theories and principles applicable to both online and instructor‑led learning programs, adult learning principles and concepts
  • Strong understanding of sales training methods
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    Ability to design effective training programs
  • Outstanding coaching skills
  • Great organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to measure performance
  • Resides in Central Texas and can travel 25-50% to each of our 8 campuses as needed

Qualifications Education Preferred

Bachelors or better in Human Resource Administration.
