Position Overview
Full-time (40 hrs/week), on-site at GT Campus in Georgetown (Austin), TX. Salary $100,000 per year ($50/hr). Relocation assistance available. Health, dental, and vision coverage begin day one.
Responsibilities- Facilitate targeted phonics workshops for gifted K–2 learners, designing sessions based on assessment data.
- Conduct running records, evaluate reading proficiency, and organize differentiated instructional groups independently.
- Deliver 1:1 and small‑group motivational coaching through incentive systems.
- Monitor live student advancement in adaptive learning platforms and adjust instruction dynamically.
- Encourage 5–8 year olds to surpass benchmarks, accelerating learning 5–10x.
- Teaching whole‑class lessons; students engage with self‑directed applications.
- Overseeing 25+ students; focus on small cohorts.
- Adhering to district scope/sequence or preparing for high‑stakes tests.
- Teaching non‑reading content.
- Developing IEPs or managing district administrative processes.
- Master's degree in reading instruction or recognized reading certification (Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson Reading System, CERI, LETRS, etc.). Science of Reading coursework alone does not satisfy this requirement.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of small‑group early literacy instruction for K–2.
- Experience assessing reading levels, creating instructional groups, and building differentiated instruction independently.
- Direct experience teaching gifted or high‑achieving children.
- Proficiency in AI/adaptive learning technology and interpreting student performance metrics.
- Authorized to work legally in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
- Available to work on site at GT campus; relocation assistance provided.
- Advanced Orton‑Gillingham or multisensory structured literacy preparation.
- Familiarity with Lexia, Raz‑Kids or similar K–2 adaptive tools.
- Documented success coaching students far above grade level.
- Experience leveraging student data dashboards to inform daily instruction.

Compensation & EmploymentFull‑time position. Independent contractor agreement with Crossover as Contractor of Record. Weekly payment of $50 per hour, equivalent to $100,000 per year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.
